Wildfowlers' Association recommends the following sites, detailing conservation
projects and groups across the UK:
Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) Existing to provide farmers,
landowners and other clients with the best opportunity for environmental gain
through cost effective, quality solutions.
Leicestershire & Rutland Ornithological Society (LROS) Founded in
1941, the LROS aims to promote the study, conservation and enjoyment of birds
and birding in Leicestershire and Rutland, to record and publish members' sightings,
and organise survey work to further our knowledge of the birds of Leicestershire
and Rutland.
Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust The largest international wetland conservation
charity in the UK. Founded in 1946 by the artist and naturalist Sir Peter Scott
(1909-1989), WWT has 9 visitor centres around the UK, where people can get closer
to wetland birds and enjoy spectacular wetland landscapes.
The Great Fen Project Aiming to conserve the important habitats found
at Woodwalton Fen and Holme Fen National Nature Reserves in Huntingdonshire, East
Anglia, UK.
