It has always been the view of the Leicestershire Wildfowlers’ Association that all responsible sportsmen should be accompanied by a well trained gundog, for the retrieval and quick despatch of wounded game.
Demo team at Priory Water
Our gundog section has members experienced in all aspects of dog work, from beating and picking-up to working tests and right up to field trial standard.
Friendly, helpful advice is always available. Basic and advanced gundog training, working tests, inter-club competitions, plus the occasional opportunity to run at prestigious events like the Chatsworth Country Fair, are all available to LWA members.
